LIVING LARGE IN A SMALL SPACE
To maximize a small space avoid using dark colors on the walls. If you are going to use a rich color, paint the ceiling white to give the room more height.

Placing a large mirror in your room helps reflect light and it magnifies the space, which will make it seem larger.

Avoid clutter and unnecessary knick-knacks. Too many things in a room will take away from a good flowing space.

Use matching and monochromatic furniture to keep the look of your room simplified and clean.

If you have the opportunity, adding a larger window, French doors or sliding glass doors can make a world of difference. It can bring in much needed light, and opening a room up to the outdoors will create a more spacious feeling.
