Eric Tools
Over the years, Eric has learned to become extremely resourceful in communicating with clients and contractors. He needs to know that everyone understands his vision for a space and knows how to carry it out. He has traced outlines in the sand, cut and folded paper shapes, erected Tinker Toy models, bent coat hangers, even arranging the condiments on a restaurant table to explain his ideas.
As technology becomes more sophisticated, so do Eric's tools. Here are some of the devices that Eric uses to do his work.
Kapten Talking Pocket GPS Navigational System
The first ever ultra-compact, 100% voice interactive GPS! Unlike other GPS systems, the tiny Kapten Talking Pocket GPS Navigational System has no screen. This palm-sized unit uses voice recognition technology that allows it to accept verbal input. You make navigation requests by talking to the Kapten and are in turn given spoken directions. For the sighted user, this means your eyes are always on the sidewalk or street. And it also gives the blind or visually impaired pedestrian a tool to help get where they need to go including a choice of public transports options.

Pantone Fan Deck
With Eric's background in advertising, he is very familiar with this book of color chips, which is widely used in the print industry. It breaks colors down into percentages of Cyan (blue), Magenta (red), Yellow and Black. Eric can communicate with contractors and clients by giving the percentages of each color.
