When Eric Brun-Sanglard lost his sight over nine years ago, in addition to learning to cope with the personal adjustments of his situation, he also faced the difficult task of redirecting the course of his professional life. Until the onset of his blindness, Eric jetted between Paris , New York , and Los Angeles , working as a creative director in the highly competitive world of perfume advertising for clients like Chanel, Hermes, Lancôme, and Christian Dior.

What could have been viewed as an ill-timed and overwhelming experience for Eric B, as he has come to be known, instead became the catalyst, which ultimately laid the foundation for a new professional venture, one capturing his interests in homes, design, and travel. At the onset of his blindness, Eric B was remodeling his home in the Hollywood Hills. In blindness, Eric learned to truly see and discovered he had an innate capability and design sense, which he turned into a thriving business.

The magic of Eric B’s organic design style, which began in the Hollywood Hills, has now spread to homes throughout Los Angeles, attracting the attention of some of the city's most interesting residents and investors. His innate design savvy produces results that are nothing short of spectacular.

Aside from transforming his former 1950's style Hollywood Hills home, Eric B has undertaken numerous other projects to date. He leaves his creative touch on projects of all sizes from remodels to expansions and new construction design. He has become known for creating dreamlike and exotic environments that are also inviting and livable.

Highlights of his renovation mastermind include the restoration of a run-down Hollywood classic Mediterranean in the hills above Chateau Marmont; nearby, he salvaged a bungalow from the grip of a tragic 1980's renovation transforming it into an urban Mediterranean compound; metamorphosis of a 1960's Beverly Hills home into a Balinese-inspired retreat; and a million-dollar suburban tract home with "double-wide" overtones, reborn as a contemporary California Shangri-La. More recently, Eric completed an extensive makeover of a Mediterranean mansion in Hancock Park where he reworked the floor plan and landscaping to fit the needs of a more contemporary lifestyle.
